Sure, this video also touts the fact that is the new face of Candie’s, but what we are excited about is the brief sneak preview it offers of the performance we can expect during the Circus tour concerts. We’ve got the three ring thing going on, along with a bunch of acrobatics, from what we can see. Who’s going?

Barenaked Ladies' Steven Page

After two decades with the Barenaked Ladies, cofounder Steven Page is calling it quits. This news comes seven months after the singer/guitarist was arrested on drug charges.

The 38-year-old singer/guitarist, who was caught in possession in cocaine last July, could have faced over five years behind bars for the felony. But a deal struck late last year allowed Page to avoid jail time provided he seek treatment and avoid trouble.

There really isn’t much of a point to this post other than to give rabid fans more eye candy. The video’s concept is pretty basic: Couple gets into a argument…girl in unusually large apartment overacts while holding phone…hot guy sits expressionless in the car…the softly-lit men groove in the background…blah, blah, blah.

But after watching the entire clip for “2 in the Morning,” rewind back to the :56 mark and answer me one thing: Does Jonathan Knight even look he wants to be there?

Although some might have thought Fergie would continue with her successful solo career, the Duchess is once again back with her boys.

Later this summer, the Peas will release their first album since 2005’s Monkey Business. The track above, “Boom Boom Pow,” is scheduled to be the CD’s first single.

J.D. FortuneSeveral years after a televised search, INXS is once again without a lead singer.

Back in 2005, the remaining members of the Australian band scoured the country to find a new frontman. (Michael Hutchence committed suicide in 1997.) Although they discovered J.D. Fortune through CBS’ Rock Star: INXS, the Canadian singer’s stint with the group was short-lived.

Shortly after completing an international tour, the 35-year-old said he was abruptly dismissed from his job. “I was in an airport in Hong Kong and literally got handshakes of `thank you very much,’” Fortune told Entertainment Tonight Canada. “I found myself really alone because I had travelled with these guys for 23 months. Some of the audiences we played for were upwards of 80,000 people,” he added.

Kanye WestIf you consider Kanye West’s provocative comments to be more humorous than outright annoying, you may want to set your DVRs now.

Later this month, the rapper will get an entire hour of television to himself. As the featured guest on VH1’s Storytellers program, Kanye will get a chance to perform tracks from and talk about the stories behind each song.

So what should one expect from that February 28th broadcast? I’m predicting something similar to this recent quote in Details magazine:

“Oh my God, I’m one of the greatest rappers in the world. I’ll get on a track and completely ee-nihilate that track, I’ll eat it and rip it in half. I wouldn’t have to think of it.”

MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice

Forget about Eminem and Dre. What’s the hottest pairing this month? Hammer and Ice.

Later this month, two of the biggest acts from the early 90’s will be teaming up for a one-night only concert. The event, titled “Hammer Pants and Ice” (I kid you not), will be the first time rappers Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer have shared the same stage since their glory days.

Needing a reason to break out your Hammer Pants? In the mood to “stop, collaborate and listen”? Well, then book your tickets to Orem, Utah. Tickets for the February 27th package deal start at just $32.50. (Those with a few extra bucks in their baggy pants can also purchase a Meet and Greet as well.)

50 Cent, Eminem and Dr. Dre

Kelly Clarkson may have just had the biggest leap on Billboard’s Hot 100, but Eminem is breaking records of his own.

“Crack the Bottle,” Marshall Mather’s collaboration with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, just scored the most digital downloads during a song’s debut week. The single was purchased 418,000 times, approximately 180,000 times more than Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You.”

Only Flo Rida’s “Low” (467,000) and Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance” (419,000) have done better than “Bottle.”

“Lose Yourself” was ‘s only other song to reach the top of the Hot 100. That song spent 12 weeks at #1 after its 2002 release.
